Last weekend, the orchestra hosted its annual Evening of Concertos, bringing together students, staff, and families for a night of music and community support.
The concert featured several student soloists, including Max James and Aishwarya Kota on violin, Ian Chow on trombone, York Xia on flute, Oliver Laksberg on harpsichord, Hayoon Kang on cello, and Brooke Lin on oboe. In addition to the student performers, the audience enjoyed special performances by Mr. Luke Dahlberg on trombone, Mrs. Valerie Harris on violin, Mr. Andrey Spichak with baritone voice, and Tait Thomas on voice.
Along with the performances, a silent auction helped raise funds to support the orchestra program, including festival transportation, new equipment, and future trips. The event brought the community together while celebrating the talent and dedication of the school’s orchestra students.
