Washington is covered in mountains, and it is known for its amazing skiing. Eastlake students get the opportunity to experience Snoqualmie Pass through the Webbski ski bus. This year marks the 59th year of Webbski hosting its Ski and Snowboarding school. Eastlake’s Ski and Snowboard bus is a great way for high school students to experience the mountains safely during the week.
Many parents don’t want their high schoolers driving in the dark and snow, but the ski bus offers a safe and easy way to get to the mountain. The Ski bus also provides students with a fun and healthy opportunity to unplug during their stressful and hectic school weeks.
9th graders Jack Devin and Lincoln Winner told us that they “enjoy skiing with their friends.” And without the ski bus, it wouldn’t be possible due to their ages and parent’s availability during the week.
