Many students have been asking why Eastlake does so many emergency drills. We do these drills for student safety, but also we are required by state law to do at least one emergency drill each month. By the end of the year we must do one lockdown drill, earthquake drill, and fire drill.

These drills are for student safety, so when these drills happen students must take them seriously. In the case of a real emergency it is important that all students know what to do and where to go.
