Wednesday, Eastlake High School principal Todd Apple advises proper behavior for students during assemblies.

Mr. Apple lays expectations for students, adhering to the mantra of being respectful. He includes being mindful of others’ personal space, listening to the emcees, following directions when prompted, staying until being formally dismissed, and being kind to performers.

In addition, Mr. Apple explains the difference between pep assemblies, where students are expected to show school pride, and informational assemblies, where students are expected to be quiet and focus on listening.

He notes that the stated message, although presented by him, come from the student body itself and are for the betterment of everyone.

Eastlake High School’s next assembly, the informational Veteran’s Day Assembly, takes place this Friday, November 4th during the last 20 minutes of the school day.
