Started in 2001, Snowflake Lane has kept spectators from the plateau and beyond in awe of its falling snow, passionate drummers, amazing dancers, and dazzling lights. Among its massive sea of performers are our fellow Eastlake peers, bringing their Eastlake spirit to this cherished winter spectacle every single day.
This performance culminates in months of practice and constant rehearsals. Speaking with two such students, their enthusiasm for being part of Snowflake Lane shines through.
Addison Smith, a junior, shared her excitement, stating, “I absolutely love getting to see all the kids in the parade and getting to wave to them.” Her sentiments were echoed by her sister, Kennedy Smith, a freshman, who added, “I’ve come to Snowflake Lane for years, and I always love the energy and just how happy the parade makes everyone feel.”
Their passion and excitement as performers have helped make this event a special one for everyone watching. This helps promote the event to many others in our school, who will not only go to enjoy the production but also to support their friends, classmates, and peers.
Events like these are always a highlight as the year closes, and the performers at Snowflake Lane, through their unwavering passion and commitment, have ended this year on a high note.
Snowflake Lane will continue nightly until Dec. 24, go support our fellow wolves!
