Benchwarmers Athlete of the Month: Kade Haselman

Considered by many sports analysists, coaches and athletes to be the hardest sport high school athletics has to offer, wrestling tops the charts in physical demand, technique and mental toughness. Benchwarmers Athlete of the Month Kade Haselman took on the challenge at the start of high school saying “it took a lot of hard work to get here” and put on an impressive performance placing at state.
Athletic Achievement
The 152 pound senior wrestler dominated at state placing 6th. Consistently on the podium in invitationals such as the Lynwood Classic and the Tony Clarke invite, the season is nothing short of successful for the Eastlake Athlete. Haselman also co-captains the team and prides the team on being a place that built up his “determination and hard work ethic.”
Academic Achievement
Kade has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and will be graduating this spring. He will be attending CSU and plans on competing outside of the division.
